the hold the fluff podcast

For Christian women ready to leave the fluff behind and grow in God's Word.

I couldn’t ignore what I was seeing anymore. Christian women want to grow, but too often, women’s ministry leaves them stuck in comfort and surface-level faith. Hold the Fluff is where we leave the fluffy stuff behind. Where we say goodbye to comfort and hello to conviction. Where we put God’s truth above our feelings. And we seek to actually live it out.

As your sister in the faith + co-imitator of Jesus, I invite you to join me at my table where we’ll dig into Scripture together, talk about how to apply it in everyday life, and explore ways to mentor and disciple others – minus the fluff.

If you’re ready, I’ve saved a seat for you at my table. Grab your Bible, pull up a chair, and let’s grow together. I’m so glad you’re here.

You'll hear me...

dig into god's word

The Bible is our standard and our starting point for everything. Together we’ll open it and work to align our lives to it instead of it to our lives.

Sharing practical applications

We’ll explore how we can apply the Bible to our every day lives and go from hearers only, to doers.

equipping you to lead + mentor others

Whether you’re leading a small group or mentoring a woman one-on-one, I’ll help you do it with clarity and confidence – so others can imitate Christ when they imitate you.

Meet the podcaster

Hey there! I'm McKenzie.

Your sister in the faith, co-imitator of Jesus, and the voice behind Hold the Fluff. After more than a decade of discipling women, leading groups, and navigating the highs and lows of women’s ministry, I’ve seen the gaps that leave Christian women spiritually underfed. Too often, it comes down to a reduced emphasis on Scripture and a lack of true discipleship.

You’re invited to gather around my table as we dig into God’s Word together, talk about how to live it out in everyday life, and explore how to mentor and disciple others. My hope is that we’ll leave behind the fluffy, surface-level stuff and trade feelings for truth, comfort for conviction, and ourselves for more of God.
