welcome to the from bible to life podcast

Let's take God's Word off the page and into our everyday lives.

From Bible to Life is a podcast for Christian women who want to do more than simply read the Bible – they want to live it.

I’m McKenzie, and every week I’m inviting you into my journey of taking God’s Word off the page and into my everyday life. I’ll share the things I’ve been noticing, the questions I’ve been asking, and the places where I’ve felt challenged, convicted, encouraged, or stretched by Scripture.

Together, we’ll recognize the gap between what we believe and how we live, turn to God’s Word for truth, and explore practical ways to imitate Jesus in our everyday lives.

If you’re looking for honest conversations, biblical truth, practical application, and a friend to walk this journey with, then grab your coffee, pull up a chair at my table, and let’s learn to move From Bible to Life together.

Meet the host

Hey there! I'm McKenzie.

For years, I’ve had the privilege of leading Bible studies, discipling women, and walking alongside them as they follow Jesus. Along the way, I’ve noticed that most of us don’t need more information – we need intentional practice.

I’m still learning too. That’s why every week, I’m inviting you into my own journey of taking God’s Word off the page and into my everyday life.

My hope is that these conversations encourage you to not just know God’s Word, but that they follow you into your home, your relationships, your church, and your everyday routines – so you can live every day as an imitator of Jesus.

Questions You May Be Asking

Not at all. The best place to begin is always with your own walk with Jesus. Every episode is designed to help you grow personally first. As you learn to imitate Christ in your own life, you’ll naturally be better equipped to encourage and disciple the women around you. Each episode also includes something practical you can do as a leader and/or mentor based on the discussion topic  that you can pass on.

No. While every episode takes a look at biblical truth, From Bible to Life isn’t designed to simply help you learn more information about the Bible. It’s designed to help you recognize the gap between what you believe and how you live, turn to Scripture for truth, and take practical steps toward putting God’s Word into practice.

The podcast is just one part of the She Imitates mission. You can explore Bible studies, free resources, and practical tools designed to help you grow in your faith, live out God’s Word, and disciple others in our resources library.

From Bible to Life is part of the She Imitates mission of encouraging women to imitate Jesus and become women worth imitating. The podcast focuses on the everyday practice of following Jesus – helping women grow in their own faith and encouraging them to pass that faith on to others.

New episodes of From Bible to Life are released weekly on Mondays at 7:00am Central.

Hold the Fluff was the original name of this podcast. The heart behind it has always been the same: helping Christian women move beyond simply knowing God’s Word to intentionally living it out.

As the vision grew, I realized From Bible to Life better captured what this podcast has always been about – the journey of taking what we learn from Scripture and practicing it in our everyday lives.

You may still see older episodes under the Hold the Fluff name, but the mission remains the same: encouraging women to imitate Jesus, live out God’s Word, become women worth imitating, and help other women do the same.
